Exposed aggregate is a simple, cheap and elegant

decorative concrete finish.

The finish is created by using a retarding agent to retard the setting of the top few millimeters of the concrete surface, which is then washed leaving the underlying aggregate exposed.

The end result is a textured, anti-slip finish with each job being unique and distinctive.
